About GTS Vehicle Movements
GTS Automotive Transport is owned by me, James Leighton. I have spent all of my adult life in the motor trade, and am a commited 'petrolhead'! I started early, valeting cars at local used car site at the weekends when I was 14. At 18 I started at a maindealer selling, and eventually progressed into starting my own used car business at 25. After 20 plus years of retailing cars, and also starting a small light haulage business, I decided to hang up my car dealing spurs and start transporting other peoples classic, sports and supercars, as this would keep me close to my lifelong passion for cars! Having owned thousands of cars in my car business, and a fair amount of those being 'interesting' cars, I couldn't think of a better way to keep me close to my passion.
Although I employ drivers in my little light haulage business, in GTS I am the sole driver, as I know through my many years of transporting my own precious vehicles, I can safely and professionally transport ANY car owned by someone else and guaruntee it will be treated with the same care and respect with which I treat my own vehicles, as I feel this is the very minimum level of care and respect other peoples belongings should be dealt with. Reliability, care, and safety are my absolute core values within this business!
